The Nutcracker is an interactive storytelling experience based on the classic Christmas story.
You play through the eyes of Clara and the Nutcracker, making choices that shape their fates in a world where toys come alive, battles rage, and time loops may never break.

Will you fight? Run? Stay? Forget?

This game visuals, story, and original music were created by Maor Astritzki and was  built using a custom visual novel platform developed by Idan Barzellai from scratch with Phaser 3. The platform allows anyone to easily create their own story-driven games using simple JSON files and modular assets, complete with dialog, emotion-based animations, and branching narrative logic.
